Bio Stem Cells Hair Restoration
Bio Stem cells are concentrate of different growth factors derived from adipose tissue, synthesized in the lab. These stem cells promote hair growth within three to four weeks of the treatment. The hair density increases by 30 – 40 %. On an average 6 to 8 sessions are recommended every 10 days along with supplements
.
Stem cell hair restoration is new non-surgical, safe and most effective treatment for hair growth and delivers promising results to hair loss. At Le Gorjuss Cosmetic Clinic, we have developed our own comprehensive technique of perform stem cell therapy for hair growth. To treat the hair loss, we extract patient’s own stem cells from belly, flanks or love handles. We perform this out-patient procedure under local anesthesia and a mild oral sedative. Then a special process is followed to isolate and to concentrate the stem cells from the removed fat to administrate into scalp through injections. This non-surgical hair restoration may take around 1-2 hours to accomplish.
Stem Cell Therapy – What are Stem Cells?
Stem cells are a unique population of undifferentiated biological cells characterized by the ability to undergo self-renewal and differentiation into various types of tissue. These characteristics make them an attractive option for regenerative treatments of tissue damage and for aesthetic procedures in plastic surgery.
Why are Stem Cell Therapies?
Stem cell therapies or stem cell treatments are getting more attention of medical doctors and the public in these days. Cosmetic surgery is a major branch of plastic surgery. Many people are willing to undergo surgical operations to improve their appearance. There have been many kinds of treatment modalities for patients’ cosmetic needs. For example, laser resurfacing, Botox and filler injection, and face lift have been performed by plastic surgeons for facial rejuvenation. However, each treatment has its pros and cons. It seems like that stem cell therapy is the only alternative way to overcome the limitation of previous treatment modalities, and the bright future is up to the technology of stem cell therapy in many medical fields such as degenerative disease and cosmetic surgery. For example, stem cell therapy can be applied to skin rejuvenation, filling wrinkles, volume augmentation, chronic wound and burn, scar reduction and hair growth.
How do we prepare the pure stem cells?
Harvesting adult stem cells from fat tissue has many advantages over other donor sites. Adipose tissue of abdominal wall is the most preferable donor site for adult stem cells due to easy accessibility and invisible scar.
The harvested abdominal adipose tissue is treated by enzymatic digestion and centrifuge. Then the final product of lipoaspirate is referred to as Stromal Vascular Fraction (SVF) which is made up primarily of stem cells and growth factors. However, stem cells are only a small portion of stromal vascular fraction (0.05 ~ 3 %). That is why stem cells expansion is required for clinical application.
The harvested fat tissue should be delivered to the laboratory in a very short time. Then the biologists process the sample to isolate and expand a homogenous population of adipose tissue-derived stem cells under the maximum-security conditions, so called GMP. Good manufacturing practice (GMP) is a system for ensuring that procedures are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. After expansion, stem cells can either undergo programmed freezing for future need or be released for treatment.
How dose it work
Stem cell therapy can be a powerful tool for the treatment of intractable wound problems such as skin and soft tissue defect, severe burn, diabetic wound and pressure sore. It can be applied to aesthetic procedures and surgeries such as skin rejuvenation, filling wrinkles, tissue augmentation, scar reduction and enhancing hair growth.
Stem cell therapy can be used for facial rejuvenation. It induces new collagen and vessel formation and brings tight skin and younger face as a result. So, it is very effective for facial rejuvenation. Furthermore, stem cell therapy can be combined with autogenous fat transfer as filler material for volume augmentation. Even though autogenous fat transfer is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery, it has been reported that its resorption rates exceeds 70%. Some techniques, such as multi-layered transplantation and adding platelet-rich plasma, have been employed in order to decrease the percentage of fat transplant resorption. However, autogenous fat transfer mixed with mesenchymal stem cells is attracting more attention because its survival rate surpasses that of the traditional techniques. There are some published articles that reported more than 80% survival rate of the transplanted fat after 4 months. So, stem cell therapy with autogenous fat transfer is very effective for face, neck and hand wrinkles, depressed scars and breast augmentation. Stem cell therapy can also be used for baldness treatment due to its positive effect for hair growth.
Bio Stem cells are the advance technology for treating alopecia (Baldness) i.e male pattern hair loss, female pattern hair loss and hair loss due to various disorders.
